2025 Year-End Giving

Dear Borculo Christian School Supporters,

We are beyond blessed to have moved into our new addition this year! What an incredible gift from God and from you, our faithful community. The additional classrooms and spaces have allowed us to better meet our mission—to equip students with a quality, Christ-centered education that prepares them to glorify God with their unique gifts.

Today, all of our students are once again under one roof, learning and growing together. Our expanded building now includes 19 classrooms, 2 student support rooms, 2 student services offices, 2 administrative offices, a student success room, a gymnasium, and a conference room.

Thanks to your generosity through gifts, pledges, and in-kind donations, we are only $60,000 away from fully funding this project. The 2025 year-end giving will go directly toward completing this goal—what we’re calling the “Finish the Work” campaign. All additional funds collected will go towards the Strengthen the Foundation campaign. 

Looking Ahead: Firmly Planted, Faithfully Growing

As our board has prayed and planned for what’s next, one clear area of focus has emerged—our gymnasium. This space serves as the heart of our school community: from daily PE classes to athletics, chapels, and school-wide events.

Our current bleachers have outlived their expected lifespan and have been welded back together many times.  They are difficult for spectators to access the upper rows safely. In addition, our gym floor is overly slick, posing safety concerns during PE classes, practices, and games. These updates are essential to ensuring a safe, welcoming, and functional space for our students and community.

Through the Firmly Planted, Faithfully Growing campaign, any funds raised beyond the $100,000 needed for our building payoff will be directed toward:

  • Replacing aging bleachers with accessible, safe seating
  • Replacing the gym floor with a wood floor to improve safety and playability

These projects will enhance our school’s most-used gathering space and strengthen opportunities for student fitness, athletics, and community events—all for God’s glory.

Investing in Families: Open Doors

Another vital priority for our board is ensuring that a high-quality Christian education remains accessible to all families who desire it. Over the past five years, our tuition assistance needs have more than doubled—from serving 10 to 15 families per year to over 25 families each year, with the total calculated need also doubling during that time.

Currently, Borculo Christian School desires to meet this need through our Open Doors campaign, we aim to raise $50,000 to support families in need for the next school year, ensuring long-term sustainability and continued access.

Families applying for FACTS Tuition Assistance are vetted through the FACTS financial aid system. All awards are carefully reviewed and administered by the Borculo Christian School Finance Committee, ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and faithful stewardship of all tuition assistance resources.

This endowment will allow us to:

  • Support our families and ensure that school tuition is accessible for our community.
  • Strengthen our mission to serve the Christian community we are blessed to be a part of.
