Year-End-Giving

Dear BCS Community,

First, I would like to thank you for your prayers and support that you have shown BCS over the past 63 years. Many students have studied God’s word through your generosity and come to know him on a deeper level. What a gift that is!

Currently, we have 218 students enrolled from 3-School – 8th grade and 24 churches represented in the student body. We have dearly missed being able to gather together with students, parents, families, and community members. The past six months have been challenging as we have had to postpone and cancel so many of our community building and fundraising activities. However, we know that our Lord is sovereign, and we are thankful for the ways He has also blessed us in the last six months.

Despite several modifications to our previous educational experience, pre-COVID-19, we have made many improvements thanks to our faithful Father and our community’s generosity. This year we have implemented a new English language arts curriculum, science curriculum, and a new standardized assessment tool. Last year’s auction raised enough funds for the purchase of another Chromebook cart, allowing us to go one to one in our middle school and freed up space in the previous computer lab for a middle school classroom. These additions have enabled us to further meet our mission of providing a quality Christ-centered education for our students.

Last year, we raised over $50,000 at the end of the year. We are humbled and grateful to you, our community, for being the hands and feet of Christ in such a tangible way! This year we are praying for another generous gift from God as we continue to have financial needs in our school. One considerable expense that we are anticipating in the next year is the need for a new roof over the middle school. The estimated cost of this project is upwards of $50,000. We currently have a donor who is willing to match every dollar up to $30,000. If we can achieve this matching goal, we will be able to pay for the roofing project and have funds left for tuition assistance and curriculum advancement.

Thank you, BCS community, for your continued prayers, generous support, and continued faithfulness to our students. We are so appreciative of all the ways you have contributed to our mission of providing a quality Christ-centered education for our students.

In Christ,
