Desiring to better meet the needs of our community and to foster relevant relationships across the covenant family of believers, BCS offers a variety of choices and options for parents who choose to educate their children primarily at home and who desire to supplement with courses taught and/or to take advantage of the added value that the BCS community provides with a HomeSchoolParternship (HSP) arrangement:

What Borculo Christian School Provides

Choice of classes as outlined in HSP catalog.

(Includes but not limited to Bible, Math, Science, Language Arts,
Social Studies, Technology, Physical Education, Art, Music, Band, etc.)

BCS curriculum guide (grade level scope & sequence) available for each home..

Certified teachers available for consultation.

Students may participate in interscholastic sports (participation in classroom program required).

Standardized testing (grades 3-8).

Use of the school media resources/technology equipment (available with respect to schedule).

The opportunity to participate in:

a.  grade level special events (field trips, band, swimming classes)

b.  chapels (Middle School Worldview Events)

c.  school wide events (Christmas programs, field day, etc.)

d.  intramural competition (lunch break-available for MS only)

e.  annual festivals (Science Fair, Social Studies and Fine Arts)

Relationship-building with students and faculty at BCS.

Request for records from previous schools.

Use of textbooks from the standard curriculum and grade level.

Report cards, student transcripts, and diplomas where appropriate.

How to enroll

The parents must turn in:

Completed BCS “HSP” enrollment form.

The health appraisal form to be filed with the school.

Tuition obligations.

Tuition

(per student/per class-MS schedule)

$ 240 per academic quarter (for classes that meet M-F)      

$ 875 per year (for classes that meet M-F)      

$ 570 for classes that meet 3X per week-annual (ie. band)      

Tuition covers the Borculo Christian academic school year andincludes all items listed above. Any tuition adjustments for partial academic school year enrollment will be made at the discretion of the school board.

 Tuition Payment

The entire tuition fee is due and payable upon enrollment unless other arrangements have been made (see enrollment form).

Tuition does not include

Textbooks beyond our regular curriculum

School supplies

Additional costs associated with field trips, class trips, etc.

Daily transportation  (check for ZPS transportation  availability)

Liability and personal student insurance will be assumed by parents.

Additional comments

Acceptance of enrollment following a meeting with the enrollment committee.

Borculo Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, age, national, or ethnic origin.

BCS reserves the right to discontinue the HSP agreement at its discretion at any time.
