The fourth graders are having fun reading, “The Cricket in Times Square” by George Seldon
We are hoping to have a special guest come and share his story with us this week. He is WWII vetern who is one of only two of the 17 survivors from his company of 193 men still living today. He was awarded the purple heart and the bronze star. We are looking forward to his visit. More to come once we’ve confirmed his visit.
We had a lot of fun on our Lansing field trip! Thanks to all the parents and grandparents who came along! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. I will try to get some pictures on the website soon. Our last field trip of the year will be to the Saugatuck Dunes on May 14. This will also be a 3rd/4th combined field trip.
Spring Break is Friday, April 2-Friday April 9. We will be back on April 12 and then our Lansing trip is the next day! April 13 we will meet at school at 7:45am and return around 5:45pm. Your child should have brought a note home that goes into more detail about our field trip. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful Spring Break!
